We will be meeting at Chang Jing Korean restaurant on Friday, November 6th at 6:30 pm.
It is our monthly first Friday of the month dinner. Usually we have dinner on the first Thursday of the month, but in November, we're moving to Friday evening. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy some Korean food.
A provided description:
"It's the newest establishment in the Chinatown mall. Only several months old. It sits right in the middle. If you turn into the main entrance off of Greenville avenue you see it directly in front of you. There's a Chinese Terracotta soldier statue that the landlords just erected that marks the spot. They usually have both Korean and Chinese staff on hand to wait on Customers depending on which. All can speak English.
The price range is competitive for most of the others around town. The tofu stews are all around 7.95, Dolsot Bibim Bab 8.95, Hard Boiled fish 12.95, Bulgogi Jeongsik 11.95, BBQ combinations around 15.95. They have some dinner specials too."
Those interested in eating some Korean food, just talking in Korean, or working on their English are welcome to come out.
